Bar-Rust 235 is a high performance, multi-purpose, surface tolerant, two-component chemically cured epoxy semi-gloss coating.

For prepared aluminum, concrete, fiberglass, and steel surfaces. 68% volume solids. Suitable for salt and fresh water immersion (non-potable). Self-priming on steel and masonry. Adheres to damp surfaces. Low-temperature cure to 23°F. Ideal for structural steel, piping, tank exteriors, machinery, and equipment.

Available in two complete pre-measured units, 4:1 mix ratio: 1-gallon unit (0.8 gal Part A + 1 qt Part B) and 5-gallon unit (4 gal Part A in a 6-gal pail for in-pail mixing + 1 gal Part B). Apply by airless spray, roller, air spray, or brush.

Coverage: 182 sq ft per gallon theoretical at 6 mils DFT — approx. 180 sq ft per 1-gal unit, 900 sq ft per 5-gal unit. Recommended 4–8 mils DFT per coat.

Pot life 4.5 hrs at 77°F. Hard dry 5 hrs. Overcoat minimum 3 hrs. VOC 2.43 lb/gal.
