TBT-Free CDP Antifouling

A TBT-free, controlled depletion polymer (CDP) self-polishing antifouling system for newbuilding or maintenance and repair.

Single-pack antifouling, 60% ±2% volume solids. Contains no organotin biocides and complies with the IMO International Convention on the Control of Harmful Anti-fouling Systems (AFS 2001); recognised as AFS-compliant by Lloyd's Register when used as part of an approved scheme. EPA Reg. No. 2693-132. VOC 385 g/L (3.21 lb/US gal). Applied over a recommended primer scheme at 3–5 mils dry (5–8.3 mils wet). Airless spray recommended; brush or roller for small areas only. Lightens in color on immersion — this does not affect antifouling performance.

Contents: one 5 US gal pail, single-pack — no Part B, no mix ratio. Mix thoroughly with a power agitator before application.

Coverage: 321–193 sq ft per US gallon at 3–5 mils dry (theoretical), approx. 1,605–965 sq ft per 5-gal pail. Allow for application losses.

Drying at 77°F: touch dry 4 hrs, overcoat after 6 hrs minimum, ready for flooding after 8 hrs. At 41°F: touch dry 12 hrs, overcoat after 24 hrs, flooding after 12 hrs. Flood within 6 months (temperate) or 3 months (tropical) of application, or antifouling performance may be impaired.

Flammable (flash point 82°F).
